Consultation
for Organizations
For business organizations, Dr. Kozu offers the
following services that focus on the "people" dimension of
management.
 |
Leadership
Development
The process typically involves :
1) Assessment
2) Feedback on Development Needs
3) Intervention such as Training or Coaching
4) Evaluation of the Intervention.
An example of intervention for enhancing leadership competencies is: Executive Coaching for high-potential managers and executives.
It's a one-on-one custom development process.
The first step is
feedback and goal setting based on assessment and available information
and existing data (such as recent performance evaluation, 360 survey,
learning from classroom-based programs).
Dr. Kozu offers candid and direct feedback on your personal style and how you might be
perceived by others, which you may or may not know. Self-awareness is a
key to change.
The next step is to translate goals into actionable steps and follow up
on them. It also involves continuing assessment of progress
toward goals or adjustment of goals.
Coaching sessions can be conducted in person or by telephone or both.
Ideally on-site observations should be included in the process: Dr. Kozu will "shadow" you during the
whole or part of your work day and give you feedback.

Team Building
Dr. Kozu provides consultation for development of productive
and collaborative work groups. She is especially skilled in
developing cross-cultural and multi-national teams. A method
called process consultation is often utilized. She will sit in on
your regular team meeting to observe the team effectiveness.
The focus will be on problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal
and group processes.
To gather further information, individual interviews and/or survey may
be conducted. Based on the data, feedback and recommendations for
intervention will be provided. The next step is to set mutually
agreeable goals and methods for intervention.
During the consultation process, she will ensure that the participants
learn skills in assessing and problem
solving on their own, so that they will not have to seek help from a
consultant in a similar situation.

implements custom-made programs that suit the unique situations of each
organization. In addition, She provides consultation on the
selection and development of training and development programs.

Finally, consultation on mental health
at work, stress management, and EAP issues is also provided. The services described
in Career Development are also offered to
corporate clients.
